Word Vomit 📗
I began journaling in 2014, my freshmen year of highschool and 10 years later I still have a lot to say. I bought my first journal from TJ Max at 14. It was a dark blue spiral with the words "Believe in the Good of Everything" written on the front. This journal has been with me through my best and worst days.
My mom bought me my current journal for my 23rd birthday.
I think the most important part of journaling is that there isn't a right or wrong way. You don't need a prompt and you don't need to write every single day. It took me almost 10 years to finish my first journal but every page holds a significant memory or emotion that I can go back to and reflect on. Some months I only wrote one time and some I wrote five. You should write when you feel like it or when you have something to say. Another important thing to remember is that you're not writing for anyone else. Be unfiltered.
