Meet Me!

I'm Ariha, I was born in the "small town" of Brooklyn, New York in the late 90's. I'm a middle child (unfortunately). And I hate the prompt "tell me a little bit about yourself" because my mind goes blank as soon as I hear those seven words.

I like all things dainty, girly, books, candles, vintage posters, film pictures, rom coms, i love my friends. I've always been an independent person. I love cozy sweatshirts and real life....the kind of days where I'm surrounded by people I love and I feel content. I like trying new things and doing the things I love. I like spending time alone. I like running and playing tennis (or at least attempting to play). I love taking long walks with my wired headphones. I love the summer but I'm also learning to appreciate the winter. I like seeing the beauty in mundane life. 

It's pretty easy to get caught up in the rush of life and sometimes we lose sight of the little things which make us special. I'm going to leave you with a quote that helps me feel grounded when I feel lost. "The past only exists in our minds and the future is something we create in it, only now truly exists." or "live fast, die young" as Lana Del Rey would put it. For the over-thinkers like myself who constantly need a reminder to be present, here it is. Be kind, laugh a lot, cry a little and live in the now!
